About LexOps

Built from real experience inside legal teams

LexOps helps legal teams bring structure to how work flows so operations become clearer, more efficient, and easier to scale.

reasons
Why we exist

We didn’t start with a framework or a predefined solution. We started by asking a simple question: what does a typical day actually look like inside a legal team?

For both law firms and in-house teams, the answer was rarely straightforward. A new matter might begin with an email, a message, or a quick conversation, but from that point on, how it moved was often unclear. Work passed between team members through follow-ups, reminders, and manual handoffs. One person would chase an update, another would copy information across systems, and someone else would step in to catch what had been missed.

The process existed, but it wasn’t structured. It lived in the team members’ heads.

Over time, that creates pressure. Work slows down, visibility becomes limited, and small gaps begin to compound. Teams find themselves spending more time managing the flow of work than actually doing the legal work they were trained for.

This is something we saw repeatedly across legal teams, regardless of size or structure.

LexOps was created to address that problem. Not by replacing how legal teams work, but by bringing structure to how work moves. We help teams build workflows that run clearly, track progress as work moves forward, and reduce reliance on individuals remembering what needs to happen next.

System priority
our Approach

Operator-led and systems-first

We work closely with legal teams and understand how legal work moves across inboxes, tools, approvals, and people.
Our approach is straightforward. We begin by understanding how work currently happens. We identify where delays and friction appear. We then design clear and practical workflows, introduce automation where it adds value, and build systems that teams can maintain over time.
We do not begin with tools or theory. We begin with operations.
Build systems
Improve visibility
our Approach

A practical, long-term approach

Operational improvements are most effective when they are sustainable. We help legal teams build systems that support consistent delivery, improve visibility, and adapt as organisations evolve.
The objective is not to overhaul everything at once. The objective is to make steady improvements that continue to deliver value over time.
